Terms of Service

1. What ShotState Is

ShotState is a golf performance app that helps users plan practice, build pre-shot routines, log shots, track rounds, review practice patterns, and reflect on their game.

ShotState is for golf practice, education, self-reflection, and performance support. It is not a medical, psychotherapy, counseling, diagnostic, emergency, or health-care service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ShotState. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use ShotState only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. Accounts

Some ShotState features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity under your account.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create or upload. By using ShotState, you give us permission to store, process, display, and use your content as needed to provide and improve the app.

Do not upload private, sensitive, or confidential information unless you are comfortable using ShotState to store it.

5. Videos and Media

Uploaded videos may be stored using public file URLs. Anyone with access to a video URL may be able to view that video.

6. Location and Weather Features

ShotState may use location information for features such as rangefinder distance calculations or weather capture for round journaling. Location, distance, weather, and course-related information may be approximate.

7. AI Features

AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your circumstances. It is provided for golf practice and reflection only and is not professional, medical, psychological, legal, or therapeutic advice.

8. Acceptable Use

• Do not use ShotState for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.
• Do not attempt to access another user's account or data.
• Do not interfere with ShotState's security or operation.
• Do not upload malicious code, spam, or harmful content.

9. Intellectual Property

ShotState, including its name, design, app structure, text, graphics, features, software, and related materials, is owned by ShotState or its licensors.

10. Purchases and Subscriptions

If ShotState offers paid features, purchases, or subscriptions, payment will be processed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another authorized payment provider.

11. Privacy

Your use of ShotState is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

12. Account and Data Deletion

You may delete your ShotState account and associated app data from within the app by going to the Profile page and using the account deletion option.

13. Disclaimers

ShotState is provided "as is" and "as available." ShotState does not guarantee golf improvement, scoring improvement, competitive results, or any particular performance outcome.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, ShotState and its owners, operators, affiliates, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the app.

15. Changes and Termination

We may update ShotState or these Terms from time to time. You may stop using ShotState at any time, and we may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.
