ShotState is a golf performance app that helps users plan practice, track rounds, build pre-shot routines, log shots, and reflect on their game.
ShotState is not a medical, psychotherapy, counseling, or health-care app.
Information We Collect
ShotState may collect account information, golf profile information, practice data, round and shot data, reflection data, limited usage analytics, and support communications.
ShotState may use GPS during a session for distance calculations. GPS coordinates used for rangefinder features are not stored in the app database.
Videos and Media
If you use video features, ShotState may access your device camera and microphone and allow you to upload practice videos.
Uploaded videos are stored through Base44 file storage. At this time, uploaded videos may be stored as public file URLs, meaning anyone with access to the URL may be able to view the file.
How We Use Information
- Provide and improve ShotState features.
- Save practice sessions, journals, rounds, checklists, shot logs, and reviews.
- Personalize practice tracks and progress.
- Generate summaries or practice insights.
- Respond to support requests.
- Maintain app security and reliability.
AI Features
ShotState may use AI tool integrations to generate summaries, coaching-style feedback, or practice insights based on user-entered app data.
AI-generated content is for golf practice and performance reflection only. It is not medical, psychological, therapeutic, legal, or professional advice.
Third-Party Services
ShotState uses third-party services to operate the app, including Base44, weather API services, Google Fonts, AI/LLM integrations, and email services where needed.
Sharing and Selling Data
ShotState does not sell user personal information and does not currently use third-party advertising SDKs, data brokers, or cross-app tracking for targeted advertising.
Data Security and Retention
ShotState data is stored and managed through Base44. User-owned records are protected by row-level security rules designed to allow users to access only their own data.
ShotState retains user data while the user maintains an account or until the data is deleted by the user, through the in-app account deletion flow, or by an administrator in response to a verified request.
Account and Data Deletion
Users may delete their ShotState account and associated app data from within the app by going to the Profile page and using the account deletion option.

Children's Privacy
ShotState is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
